Our Facilities

The Martingrove Montessori School is comprised of spacious and bright classrooms with large windows, equipped with authentic Montessori materials, including child sized furniture and activites.

Martingrove Montessori Admission Information

boys reading Due to the developmental and sequential nature of the Montessori program, children are generally admitted to Martingrove Montessori between the ages of 2.5 and 4 years.

Our school is responsive to each student as an individual and our community is made up of students from many different cultures, intellectual and social characteristics.

The School Year

Our school years runs very much like any other school system. The school year begins in September and ends in June with a Christmas and March break included as well as certain Professional Activity Days, where there are no classes.

School Uniforms

All Full Day students are required to wear a school uniform. Uniforms may be ordered and purchased at InSchoolwear Inc.

7:45 am	Before School Breakfast Program
8:30 am	Doors Open — Teachers greet children at their cars
9:00 am	Doors are locked — Re-opened at 9:30 am
11:00 am	Circle Time — Story Time
11:20 am	Begin Dismissal of Morning Children
11:30 am	Teachers walk children to their cars
11:35 am	Preparation of Lunchroom
11:45 am	Lunch for Full Day Students
12:30 pm	Outdoor Time for Full Day Students
1:30 pm	Afternoon Classes Begin
3:00 pm	Circle Time — Story Time
3:20 pm	Begin Dismissal of Full Day Children
3:30 pm	Teachers walk children to their cars
3:30 pm	After School Program Begins
6:00 pm	After School Program End
